Oh, Holim the broken tape so annoying !

Ever wonder why am I so into Politic ?

I guess most of the youngster at my age especially friends around me are still care less about what happening in our country.

And this Holim keep on posting political news on FB day in and day out instead of posting funny posts, nice photos or spamming nonsenses at other wall's update.

He is just like a broken tape !!!! damn I should block Holim from tainting my fb wall.

I guess this is what happen. My wall receive less update than last time.

Well, I have a reason for this. And let me clarified. I am neither a member of any political parties. I am just like you, a normal citizen of Malaysia.

But why am I hurting myself by allowing anger, hatred and disappointment to ruin my day as I keep updating myself on recent political news?

Why am I taking all the trouble or even risk being label as anti-government by constant sharing news on FB that is not favorable to government ?

For most of you guys, you just want to live 'peacefully' and hence care less on our country. And any matter concern with politic is deem as chaos and might get yourself into trouble without any beneficial in return.

Me too, I want to live in peace. But have you ever ask yourself. Who pay for your peace ?

Why other people have to do the scarification and you doing nothing to earn the peace and rights that you are enjoying right now freely ?

"Nobody asked them to sacrifice wor, I think life is good now and I think their doing is pointless and idiot"

If they are nobody keeping an eyes on government, how much you do think is the petrol price now ? how much you need to pay for your foods ? same goes to electricity bills, waters and miscellaneous. But I guess it still not concern you much because

Your parents are paying for it !

Don't you still miss the old time when one pack of nasi lemak just cost Rm0.60 ? One plate of WantonMee Rm2.50 ? and Roti Canai RM0.50 ?

What is the price now ?

Because our country is handle by incompetent leaders who are so tainted with corruption, hence our government can't longer afford to maintain the price of the foods serve on our table. Money is keep on drying out from national coffer into their pockets. The spending is exceeding the money going in which result an increasing national debt.

Oh Damn ! I am saying boring stuffs again. If I am going down with more details, will you stop reading my post ???

Nevertheless, I am pretty sure all of you can see yourselves. Ask your mums how much it cost to cook a decent dinner ? you will shocked.

"Ish, I don't see a big problem here wor, though all the price is hike, but my pocket money increase as well. So my money is still enough to spend hehehe"

That is self-fish. Our parents get to work harder and harder just to give us a decent and worry less life. How many days your parents have to work? how many hours daily that they have to grind in their office?

For my scenario, my father at the age of 54 just bought a decent size house which cost RM868,000 !
Of all his life, he only can afford to buy a house at this age and then have to pay monthly installment for the next 17years.

My pap said, "Sons, house is getting more expensive by days, normal house like that already cost this much, how could you afford to buy one in future ? (*Mind you, our salary do not increase faster than the price hike). That why we buy this down for your future." And hence my father are bringing a new burdern on his shoulder for extra 17 years.

And to pay that, he said he will have to work until he can't anymore. I am really touched and sad in the same time as he can't stop working though his age had reach retirement stage. Why is the house price in our country is so high ? People in USA can pay off their house debt with 3years of salary but in Malaysia, we need 25year+ worth of salary to pay off !

In future, all of us will become a parents. And only at that time, you will start complaining on the government. Guess what, if things can start to change and get better 10-15 years ago, life will be much easier. You start to regret and only complain complain and more complain. And only could get yourself a Kondo that cost Million LMAO. Here goes your retiree money.

"Nah, I am not intend to fight for a better Malaysia lah. Why not just migrate to other country where opportunities are wider ? Ooooh I love Aussie !! Weeee"

Talk is easy and cheap folks. I wish to migrate too. But with our screwed up education systems, which country will recognize us ? I am a student of University Malaya . You know, in Malaysia this Uni name can still get me some respect and recognition. But other than Malaysia, my cert is not worth more than a piece of toilet paper. Try bring your cert to Singapore and see how they respond.

They are looking down on us !

Unless you are a Malaysian studying in Singapore University, chances for you to get recognition from a first class country with our shitty cert.... is shitty slim.

Lol, you are a graduate from local university and dreaming to excel out there ? Good luck folks, but you will have a very hard time to start with. First you will work as cheap labor and must have the capabilities to endure discrimination from locals. Second, you must somehow prove you are better than those locals that come out from a University that ranked 30 in World with your shitty cert that ranked... .erm 200 ?

Only than, you will have a real good life over there ;-)

"But what can I do ? I am chicken shit... I scared my parents will upset with me putting headband and carrying banner to join protest"

No worry guys. I am a chicken shit too. But smaller and less smellier compare to you. I dare not to join protest even though I want to. Because I do not want to upset my parents.

But there are plenty of stuffs you can do ! The chicken shit way ;-)

Just concern more on our country by read up news from various channel. Best if you can balance yourself between pro-government news and pro-opposition news so that you can judge yourself. And share it out via social network that I am sure you are pro with it. Tell your friends what is happening and voice your opinion and concern.

Believe me, A lot of chicken shits gather together will cause a large enormous POOPS that will be so bloody stink and powerful.

Do your part fellow chicken shits, and I will do mine too =)

One step closer

Every success begin with a small step. Whenever you take a small step,

You are one step closer.

Our goal is far away and every small steps

seem totally insignificant.

But if we look on how far is the goal away, and not

how many steps we have taken,

Disappointment is what to be expected.
Tell your self that every small steps you make,

You are one step closer.

Life is Good now =)

Although this is my holiday and I need to get up like 7am everyday and join the crowd to jams the road all the way to my oracle class at UM and later on join the crowd again on the road all the way back to my home.

But I am happy and xinfu  =D

I do not need to set my alarm clock as my sister who was getting up for work will wake me and my little brother up. Being call up is always sound better than annoying alarm from phone.

After that, I will go to kitchen and greet my grandma morning. She was doing morning chores at kitchen. Everyday, my mom will fried two eggs and leave it on the table before going to market. That is my everyday breakfast and lunch box.

Usually I will ate the first egg with a slice of bread outside of my house because I love to see my dog dancing around me to get a slice of what I eating.

After my mom coming back from market, I will be watching hokkien tv-series in living hall with my grandma, mom and my younger bro who soon going to work. My sister had leave to work by now.

My class is at 9AM everyday. But I only start moving to prepare myself at 8.20AM. Every time before I leave the house, I need not worry of leaving stuffs behind as my mom and grandma will do a check on me.
My grandma will ask me if I forgot my drinking water and lunch box. My mom will remembered me of my wallet, phone and swimming trunk. It is so nice to have people reminding you.

And I start my journey ahead and contribute to the traffic jam knowing that I will be late to class. As always =)

24 Hours Movie Marathon

Yes, I did that 24 Hours of Movie Marathon. It is an event held by Cinema.com.

I get to knew this event from Jun Yen and without hesitation we pull along few buddies and rush to Ikano Power Centre to register ourselves.

Why we so eager to do this ? As quoted from YC, "Uni Life is about doing crazy thing".

And I am so agree. There was once I saw a short video shared in FB. It is a short video showing slides of photo about University Life by one of the China's University. To be honest, I am envy of their life. They seem to do so much of crazy stuffs during their uni life. Most of uni friends here were quite passive and prefer life that doesn't divert much from their usual routine. Doing extraordinary activities such as men dressing like girls and walk around campus or sneak into faculty and start tossing toilet paper around the main lecture hall are seriously unacceptable.

But of course, I am not dare enough either to do such thing if I will be doing it alone. So, watching a movie 24H and standing a chance to win a 32 Inch television is a very interesting stuffs to do.

None of us had ever done this before. But we are going to have our very first try.

And we come here prepared.  At first, we thought that we will be sitting on cushioned chair whole day in cinema watching movies. But it turn out we will be sitting on a hard plastic chairs and watching past old buster movies on 42 inch television in a small confined room.

Oh mai...

But we come prepared.

I brought 3 bottles of Red Bull and 2 bottle of Chicken Essences which I believe can help me to stay awake. I purposely wore a sleeveless shirt in order to force myself awake by shivering in cold.

But soon, it proof that it need more than that.

The rules were like this,

1. If your focus is out from the screen (playing phone, talking with friends, staring at ceiling, etc) and after a silent count of 5, you are out of game.

2. You got a 15minutes break for every end of movie.

3. At the end of the last movies, remaining survivors will be test on Q&A session and whoever get the highest points won !
Simple and straight forward rules for a tough game.

And below are the list of movies we watch.

1. Iron Man 2
2. Morning Glory
3. Star Trek
4. I forget
5. Despicable me
6. Wolfman
7. Megamind
8. Wanted
9.  I Forget
10.  I Forget
11. Star Trek

At first, I thought that 15 minutes of break within each movies are more than enough. But later on, it is so hellish never enough. Just walking to and back from toilet already took 8minutes and the remaining 7 minutes are used to nap, rush to nearest store for junk foods/ meals or stretching around.

For the first few movies, my momentum was still strong until I bump into first Star Trek movie.

Nightmare !!! Dead Boring !!! Help.....

My nicely build momentum put into full stop and I have to bottom-up the first Red-bull. And the marathon goes on.

The hardest part is at 4-7AM where my eyes were so heavy. I have to stand to watch the movies. By that time, half of the participants were either kicked out or give up.

Ikano Power Centre had totally closed after 12am. And left us in the silent building.

Haha, It use to be my imagination to stay inside a big shopping complex and stuffed myself with foods from supermarket and playing toys at will from any stalls. Hmm, for this case, I forget that there are guards watching us and not to mention that CCTVs are around ><

Long story short, 5 of us survived ! The clock at 12pm Sat - 12pm Sun. And we braced ourselves to endure the last movie of the competition, which is another Fucking Star Trek.

Out of 30+ participants, 15 left.

They are asking deep questions about the movie we watched ! We had struggled so hard to stay awake and now we required to remember things from the movies ?

We thought it is hard, but not for those movies fanatic around us. We are so surprise that those leftover survivors could actually answer those questions like they have been watching for hundred times.

4 of us get kicked out and left Jun Yen fighting for the big TV. But as expected, he is not fanatic enough and only get a consolation prize. Haha, but he is better than us la who only get a goodies bag as a token of appreciation.

And to be exact, I have been awake for 30 hours before finally get to faint on my bed. 24 hours movie marathon is hurting myself mentally but I have fun ! Though the movies, chairs and only one meal provided, but I am not regretting this because this is a Uni Life. Doing crazy things with friends without thinking too much on the self-benefits.

Mid Valley Pet Fair 2011

It sucks.

After such a long time since I do shooting, I have been looking forward for this event. I imagining pets like dog, cat, iguana and other exquisite pet would be display over there like car show model. And they were actually charging us for entrance fees.

RM 5 for adult, and RM2 for kid.

Well, I am ok with it as I am expecting a good time photo-snapping action inside. But it turn out to be a real disappointing moment.

Where is the fancy dogs, cats, iguana, pony bla bla bla ???? All I see is stuffs... pet's food, toys, shampoo and junks. It is totally different from what I have been imagining.

Well, there do have pets. But in Cage !

The best that they can offer is pathetic puppies and kitten kept in small cage with a hefty price tag. I do not see happy face of those pet which smash my mood to take photos.

Every photos are looking sad.

And more pet's food on the way.

And the only happy pets are those pet that brought by walk-in visitor.

They get loved and treated better than human being lolx. And their photos were so hard to snap as they were so agitated. In-door lighting was poor which result in low shutter speed and high-ISO. Most of the photo were either blurry or very noisy.

They do have some event going on. A dog competition I guess. Whereas it is a competition to see whose dog get trained better.

At first, I thought at least there are something to ease my regretness over the entrance fees. But it turn out to be a really boring event. Only 4-5 participants involved. And the challenges were plain simple like jumping over the low barrier and etc.

I get bored as my lens cant zoom that close to take a good photo, and continue wandering. Though it is a shitty event but people were crowding in. Maybe there are just like me, get cheated first time.

Apparently they have a section for pet adopting. And to my surprise have good species of dogs ready for adoption. But, most of em if not all are female. Well, truth is harsh.... most of people prefer male than female.

There is one black dog who catch my attention. A female black dog that is very active and responding. I can see that she can be easily trained. Argh ! how I wish to adopt her. Hey, for anyone who wishes a dog, this can be a real good choice. Rush to Mid Valley now !!!

After that, We got out from there feeling sorry for our RM5 and headed for lunch @ Noodle Station.

Dry Noodle with Black Pepper Drumstick @RM8.60, Iced Lemon Tea @RM3.60 and French Fries @RM3.80.

The noodle is nothing to brag about but the black pepper drumstick is quite good. And the french fries is tasty as well.

My kind sister treated us a dozen of Big Apple.

Gotta try the IceBerg. It is goood !

Wesak @ Batu Cave

Such a long time I have last updated my blog with photos.

Busy ? temporarily lost of interest ? or whatever it is have put my 4K in cold storage. And I feel sorry to both of us for ignoring her and the money I had spent.

So, yesterday was Wesak Day. And I decided to make a little trip to Batu Cave with my sibling.

Do Indian celebrate Wesak Day at Batu Cave??

Erm, I don't think so. That is why I went to Batu Caves to avoid human traffic jam. As expected, the traffic was smooth as well as Batu Cave.

I never been there before. This was my first time. Same to my sister and younger brother

After a long long time never play with my 4K. I found out that I have trouble using her. Well, I don't have skills at the first place and suppose I won't get any more worse than that. But I did. Out of so many photos, just some are usable.

I have tried to capture photo of living thing such as pigeon. Thank god that there were not scared of human thus allowed me to get quite close to them. If not, I will be hating myself for getting too poor to own a zoom len.

Stairs, of course... this is what Batu Caves famous for. It have 267 total of stairs to hike. it might not seem that much but the stairs were quite steep thus making the distance between each stairs were quite short. Big foot fella like me is actually facing a little difficulty to step on the stairs. Well, only 2/3 of my foot were stepping the stairs.

Batu Caves is a sacred place for Hindus, but it so a good place for early morning exercise. A lot of people coming here to climb stairs. This can be a really good place to train our leg muscle before attempting kinabalu mountain, just saying.

And after all the tiring climbing and crappy photoshoot. We, went back home and bite some breakfast before hand. A hearty breakfast which have a really reasonable price.

RM 5.20 for this.. can believe it ? Recession man

Dying trend

Blogging used to be a hot trend back then. Among my course mate and myself we used to follow blogs daily. Not to forget to spam comments.

Back then, I used to be so excited seeing new comments on my posts. Checking in blog so frequent to check for latest comments and see if friends had updated their blog.

Well, it seem blogging trend is fading off. I still do blogging. But felt that my blog weren't followed by friends already thought I knew some good friends still following it. Well, lacking of comments in posts just kill off the satisfaction.

Wait, I do have comments on every posts !! But who are them seriously? It seem random blog hopping happened a lot lately. And most of them were just dropping by to introduce their blog. That is irritating !

Old friends seem not into blog anymore. Blogging and Diary are both different things. Diary is personal and should not be shared to anyone. But if blog without reader.....

What the point of blogging then ?
